The Storms are Over

Last night, we had thunder storms that cleared out the muggy air and heat. Today is clear sunny mild summer day. I can leave the car windows down. Today after work I might be able to weed my vagatable garden.

Nikki, English Cocker Spaniel who is four and half years old. Wouldn't leave me alone yesterday, when I arrived home after work. I realize she is by herself all day. But she sleeps most of the time, unless the mailman wakes her up - I've been there to hear him say "Shut up" when Nikki barks upon his arrival to the front door.

When Last night when the thunder was going on, Nikki and the cats, Fiona and Miss Lilly went into hiding. The cats sort refuse under the blanks on the futon in my office. And Nikki layed by my lazy boy. Her favorite spot, which anoying to me is right under the part that rises my legs up. When I try to get off my chair, she gets caught under neith when I lower the chair. Soon after the thunder was gone, the sound of fireworks from the baseball field - Clipper Magazine Stadium.

And that's life in the heartlad of America.
